Dane County’s Trash Lab

Sun, June 13 | 10 AM - 2 PM

The Trash Lab is the collaborative result of the Dane County Waste and Renewables Department and the Madison Children’s Museum. The goal is to teach all ages about what happens to garbage, recycling, how to reduce waste, and how to be better stewards of what is around the house in general.

Housed in a fully accessible, 27-foot-long repurposed cargo trailer, Trash Lab features more than 10 playful interactive stations, engaging stories, and a wealth of data, along with compelling photography and video footage. The exhibit’s whimsical exterior and immersive interior environment will capture visitors’ imaginations – find the Lab in Metcalfe’s parking lot

June 12th and 13th from 10 AM -2 PM
