ABOUT THE ROLE

At Jaxen Grey, the Inventory Lead plays a critical role in ensuring product flows efficiently from receipt to stockroom to sales floor. This position owns back-of-house execution, inventory accuracy, and operational standards that directly support sell-through, shrink reduction, and a strong customer experience. The Inventory Lead partners closely with store leadership and sales teams to keep product moving, organized, and ready for business.

This is a hands-on, part-time role reporting to the Store Manager, focused on day-to-day inventory operations. Hours are based on the needs of the business and may fluctuate throughout the year.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE…
Own all inbound and outbound product flow, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with Company policies
Receive, unpack, ticket, and process all merchandise; verify receipts against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
Execute and oversee inter-store transfers, Return to Vendor (RTV), and damages for the store
Maintain an organized, safe, and space-efficient stockroom with clearly organized backstock that supports high-volume storage, inventory accuracy, and fast replenishment
Partner with store leadership to establish and execute a replenishment cadence, ensuring the sales floor is replenished as needed to support sell-through and a strong customer experience
Support floor readiness for events, launches, promotions, markdowns, and seasonal transitions
Fulfill, prepare, and ship e-commerce and customer orders in accordance with quality and shipping standards
Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and reduce shrink and loss

Proven success working in a fast-paced retail or operations environment
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
A high level of initiative, accountability, and ownership over results
Collaborative mindset with the ability to use creative problem-solving to develop solutions to operational challenges
Comfort using technology, including inventory systems, Point of Sale, and shipping software
Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and adapt to changing business needs
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to safely climb and use ladders as needed

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY…
This is a part-time position, with hours based on the needs of the business and typically averaging approximately 25 hours per week, though weekly schedules may vary.
Schedules are typically Monday–Friday, but may vary based on store needs, including weekends, holidays, and peak volume periods (events, launches, markdowns, and seasonal transitions)
