We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and service-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Hilldale. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves fashion, and enjoys leading a team while creating meaningful customer connections.

What You’ll Do
Customer Experience & Team Leadership
● Create a welcoming, personalized shopping experience that builds lasting customer relationships
● Handle customer concerns with confidence, professionalism, and thoughtful discretion
● Participate in proactive customer outreach around new arrivals, events, etc.
● Lead by example on the sales floor through strong selling and styling behaviors
● Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback and training
● Support recruiting, onboarding, and continued team development
● Share customer insights, best sellers, and opportunities with leadership

Visual Merchandising
● Help maintain an elevated and inspiring store environment that reflects the Twigs brand
● Execute visual merchandising standards with attention to detail and creativity
● Train staff on proper standards to maintain a clean, well presented store at all times
● Adjust merchandising based on sell-through, inventory flow, and customer trends
● Support floorsets, new product launches, and seasonal merchandising updates

Operations & Inventory
● Partner with the Store Manager to execute daily operational activities
● Ensure inventory is received accurately and in a timely manner
● Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
● Execute RTVs, scheduled audits, customer repairs, and backstock assessments
● Maintain operational organization and support ongoing operational training ensuring a clean and organized backroom
● Order store supplies as needed and communicate updates with the leadership team

Business Performance
● Understand store goals, sales trends, and business opportunities
● Utilize reporting tools to support customers and drive business decisions
● Assist with payroll processing and end-of-month reporting
● Partner with leadership on action plans based on business performance and trends

What We’re Looking For
● 2+ years of retail experience, including management or leadership responsibilities
● Passion for fashion, styling, and customer service
● Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
● Ability to multitask and lead confidently in a fast-paced environment
● Experience with inventory management and retail operations preferred
● High comfort level using computers, POS systems, and digital retail tools
● Positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
