Sunflower Sale benefiting World Central Kitchen’s efforts in Ukraine

A symbol of peace; buy a sunflower stem and support World Central Kitchen’s efforts in Ukraine. Visit the sunflower stand outside Metcalfe’s Market (726 N Midvale Blvd), Saturday, March 26 from 11am – 1pm and Sunday, March 27 from 11am-1pm.
Suggested donation, $5 per stem, all proceeds from the sale will go to World Central Kitchen to support their ongoing work in Ukraine. World Central Kitchen is working to ensure that everyone is met with a warm, nourishing meal- showing the power that a plate of food can hold in even the darkest times. World Central Kitchen is rapidly expanding in Ukraine to distribute food—including hot, fresh meals—in five countries and more than 330 distribution points.
The sunflower, Ukraine’s national flower, is a symbol of peace- thank you for your support.
Looking for more ways to support? From March 18th- 31st, Metcalfe’s Market will sell paper sunflowers for $1 each, available during checkout. Proceeds raised will also go to support World Central Kitchen’s efforts in Ukraine.
