North Pole Party

Kick off the Holiday season at Hilldale with Reindeer Games and Tree Lighting Event.  Featuring a visit from Santa and a few of his reindeer, kids crafts, carolers, Nutcracker characters and a preview of Black Friday shopping deals. This is the holiday lighting event you don’t want to miss!

Event Details:

• 3:00 – 5:30 PM: Pose for a photo with Santa and his reindeer pulling their sleigh on the Green near L.L. Bean
  • Bring a bag of non-perishable donations for MOM Food Pantry and our professional photographer will take your FREE family photos with the reindeer
  • Please bring a bag with at least 5 items to donate. See the items pantry is in most need of here
  • Photos will be posted to Hilldale’s Facebook page by November 23
  • There will also be two reindeer grazing on the Green (near bartaco) for you to take photos of. There will be elves around to answer all your reindeer related questions!
• 3:00 – 5:00 PM: Madison Ballet will host a Meet & Greet and photo-op with Dancers from the Nutcracker, from 3pm – 5pm in front of the Christmas Tree (near Café Hollander & Morgan’s Shoes)
  • Families and tiny dancers are invited to meet the characters, take photos and ask all their questions to the cast!
• 3:00 – 4:30 PM: Be entertained by the cool sounds of MAD CITY PIPER in the Plaza (near Peloton)
• 3:00 – 6:00 PM: Stroll and shop Hilldale for Black Friday preview sales
• 3:00 – 5:30 PM: bartaco will offer complimentary Churro bites & Hot Chocolate on their patio (while supplies last)
• 3:00 – 5:00 PM: Join Creando Explorertorium on the Green (near bartaco) for free crafts for kids
• 3:00 – 6:00 PM: Enjoy tractor pulled hayrides around Hilldale
• 4:00 – 6:00 PM: warm up before the Tree Lighting – enjoy a complimentary cup of Crescendo Hot Chocolate, from the stand in the Plaza (near Petphoria, one cup per person, while supplies last)
• 5:00 – 7:30 PM: Enjoy music by the Dickens Carolers in the Plaza by the big tree near Café Hollander
• 6:00 PM: Join us as we light our holiday tree and light up Hilldale for the holiday season!

Please note: We know how popular Santa and his reindeer will be, and we encourage you to grab a selfie with Santa’s reindeer who will be grazing on the Green starting at 3:00 while you’re waiting in line to meet the big guy in red.  If you aren’t able to take a photo with Santa at the event, he’ll return to Hilldale on December 12^th in the Hilldale Holiday Hut.
