Social Media Specialist for @HilldaleMadison

Hilldale Marketing is seeking a part-time social media specialist to assist with capturing photography and creating/posting content to @HilldaleMadison social media channels and website.

 Social media specialist job duties include:

  • Capture and edit photography and create graphics and content for Hilldale’s social media channels
    • Photography will be of Hilldale, Hilldale customers and/or tenant merchandise
    • Graphic creation via Canva for Instagram, Facebook and website
    • Video content creation for Instagram Reels & Tik Tok
  • Capturing photography and create graphics that are consistent with brand DNA
  • Capturing photography and create graphics that are consistent with our Diversity Equality & Inclusion initiatives
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices and technologies
  • Assist in execution of social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification

 Other duties could include:

  • Events: Photography of property events and/or assisting with staffing of events
  • Website: Maintain website presence by creating feature graphics (via Canva), updating the event calendar and news & press page

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Photography, Marketing/Business Administration or similar field OR 3+ years of experience photography and social media. Retail experience is preferred, not required
  • Proficiency in use of: Instagram (including Reels), Facebook and Tik Tok
  • Excellent oral, written, organizational, interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in marketing-based editor tool: Canva
  • Proficiency in marketing-based tools: Iconosquare, Google Analytics, Constant Contact, Sweet IQ, WordPress, is a plus, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite products, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a plus, but not required
  • This position requires you to supply your own camera (can be high quality phone camera/video) and computer and have reliable transportation
  • This position does not have a set schedule and hours will fluctuate between 5-15 hours a week, must be available some weekends

Please Note: This position is a vendor/consultant contract.

Pay:

  • Pay will be determined based on experience, starting at $20/hour
