Description:
We are seeking to fill a part-time Shop Associate position for 15-20 hours a week. The pay is $15/hour. Available nights, weekends, and certain holidays. Must be 18+ and be able to unload trucks full of plants and pottery weighing up to 40lbs.

Your goal as Shop Associate is to create a memorable and satisfying experience for each customer from beginning to end by performing the following tasks:

• Giving a warm welcome to all customers
• Resolving any plant care questions customers may have
• Providing expert advice on plant choices based on light availability and maintenance preferences
• Recommending and potting plants in appropriate vessels
• Educating customers on their plant selections and related products
• Completing transactions at our point of sale

You keep our shop and products looking their best by:

• Adhering to weekly watering and treatment schedule for plants
• Restocking and tidying merchandise
• Receiving, pricing, and product placement

Job Requirements:
As a Shop Associate, you are the first impression our customer gets when they walk through our doors. You are outgoing and welcoming. You have some knowledge and experience with retail. You get along well with others, are hardworking, and always eager to lend a helping hand. You take pride in our shop and products and it shows. Major plus for those who love houseplants, know a lot about them, or are excited to learn!
