As a Receiving Manager at Metcalfe’s Market, you create uplifting and memorable interactions for our shoppers that go far beyond processing shipments. You have knowledge of our sustainable neighborhood products, the ability to answer questions, and a genuine, friendly demeanor while you receive and process orders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide thorough knowledge of shipping & receiving, the retail food business, problem solving skills, and make timely and effective decisions
• Determine accuracy of supplies ordered according to invoices
• Provide amazing service to your vendors and fellow teammates

Qualifications/Skills:

• High School diploma/equivalent required, Associate’s degree (A.A.) or technical school training preferred
• 6 months previous grocery or related experience preferred
• Knowledge of technology and Microsoft Office- more specifically, Outlook, Word and Excel

Special Requirements:

• Availability required between 5am-2pm
• Also requires a weekend shift and some holidays
